Chesmar Homes-Houston president, Scott Merovitch recently rolled out a restructuring plan to associates at their last quarterly gathering.  Merovitch states, “We are excited about the changes which are in progress for our city’s operation.  The Houston market is one of, if not the best in the nation and the changes we are putting in place should afford us the opportunity to grow our market share.”

As of June 1, 2017, Chesmar Homes-Houston began transitioning into distinct north and south divisions, with oversight of a city president and city level support team. There are significant role changes brought on by the move from one division to two. “While the potential reward this growth offers our company is great news, the opportunity it opens up for our people is what really makes us happy”, says Merovitch.

Seth Tobey has been promoted from VP of Sales and Marketing to head up the north team as division president.  Also for the north team, Jessi Espiritu was named VP of Sales and Steve Smith has stepped into the role of VP of Construction.

The south team is being headed up by Scott Merovitch in the interim until a new division president is named.  Overseeing sales for the south team is Todd Barrow as VP of Sales, and David Ebarb becomes the VP of Construction.

Scott Merovitch heads up the operation as city president, with his city support team in place for design, purchasing, customer relations, and marketing.
