Welcome to the world-class region.

Everyone's heard the stereotype: it's all cowboys, cactus and cattle. While those Texas roots are strong, Houston will surprise you with everything it has to offer. The ten-county region is the largest city not only in Texas, but the whole Southern United States. Here the grass is green, landscaping is lush and the tree canopy is thick and widespread. It's the perfect mix of Southern greenery and urban sophistication. Known as the Bayou City, the Houston metro area—the sixth largest in the nation—is criss-crossed by a number of bayous, many of them flowing into Buffalo Bayou, the site of the city's birthplace in the downtown area.

BRIDGELAND® AND THE WOODLANDS® OFFER NEW TIC TAG TOLL PROMOTION – New Homebuyers Receive Free Grand Parkway Tolls for One Year Plus Builder Incentives This Spring

Houston, TX (March 10, 2016) – Bridgeland® and The Woodlands® announced today the launch of their latest springtime promotion - Tic Tag Toll. Following the recent opening of the Grand Parkway segments that connect the two award-winning master planned communities, the Tic Tag Toll promotion in Bridgeland and The Woodlands urges new homeowners to take advantage of a toll tag on the Grand Parkway, bisecting Bridgeland and now connecting US 290 to The Woodlands.

When homebuyers purchase a new home from March 1 – April 30, 2016 in Bridgeland or The Woodlands, they will receive free tolls for one year or the homebuyer can choose a $2,000 gift card. Along with the Tic Tag Toll promotion, select builders in both communities are offering incentives such as appliance packages, discounts on closing costs, Visa gift cards, up to $40,000 in free Design Center options and more.

“The Grand Parkway simply makes it easier to get to and from home,” said Heath Melton, Vice President of Master Planned Communities, Residential Development for The Woodlands Development Company.  “When you add the Tic Tag Toll promotion to participating builders’ incentives for two of the top master planned communities in Texas, you have a winning combination.”

Participating builders in Bridgeland who are offering incentives include Beazer, Chesmar, Coventry, Darling, J. Kyle, Meritage, Perry, Ryland, Taylor Morrison and Westin Homes. New homes in Bridgeland are priced from the $220s to more than $1 million.

In The Woodlands, builders who are offering incentives include Connor Davis, Coventry, Darling, David Weekley, Gracepoint, J. Kyle, J. Patrick, M/I Homes, Pulte, Ryland, Shea, Taylor Morrison, Trendmaker Homes, Toll Brothers and Village Builders. New homes are priced from the $300s to more than $1 million.

The Grand Parkway is now open for traffic between US 59 South and I-45 North and will be extended to 59 North in late March. The newest segment between US 290 and I-45 opened in February and substantially reduced commuting time between The Woodlands and Bridgeland – two master planned communities within The Howard Hughes Corporation®  (NYSE: HHC) portfolio - and improved access to major employment centers.

Both websites, www.Bridgeland.com and www.TheWoodlands.com, include information on the Tic Tag Toll promotion. Homebuyers must have an electronic tag, Harris County ExTag, TxTAG or NTTA TollTag for the Grand Parkway. Home sales must close by December 31, 2016. For homebuilder promotions, see builders for details. Some restrictions may apply.

BRIDGELAND® WINS GOLD AWARD FOR “BEST TV COMMERCIAL” AT THE NATIONALS 2016 COMPETITION

Newest Bridgeland TV Commercial Highlights Abundant Community Amenities and Lifestyle

CYPRESS, TX (February 9, 2016) – Topping both national and international entrants, Bridgeland® received the Gold Award for “Best TV Commercial” at The Nationals 2016 Gold Awards. Presented by the National Sales & Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), The Nationals pay tribute to superior new home sales and marketing achievements. Gold Award winners were announced on Tuesday, January 19 during NAHB’s International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.

“We are pleased to win such a prestigious honor for our television commercial which depicts the wonderful amenities found in Bridgeland,” said Peter Houghton, Vice President of Master Planned Communities for Bridgeland. “We continue to create a top-notch community, and it is gratifying to see those efforts recognized within the industry.”

With striking cinematography and an unforgettable sound track, the newest television commercial for Bridgeland, “We’ve Arrived”, highlights the amenity-rich and nature-oriented lifestyle for which the 11,400-acre master planned community has become known. With more than 3,000 acres dedicated to lakes, trails and parks, Bridgeland offers the tranquility of a seemingly untouched natural environment while also providing the convenience of modern facilities.

The commercial debuted in February 2015 to coincide with the grand opening of Hidden Creek, the largest section built within Bridgeland thus far with 1,000 homesites set along 142 acres of lakes and waterways. “We’ve Arrived” was a collaboration from the master planned community marketing team and John Manlove Marketing & Communications. Alongside the vibrant footage shot on-site by Kerry Shaw Brown of LA.B Films, the team worked with Pure Evil Music to develop an original song that would resonate with target audiences. After auditioning multiple singers, the team selected 24-year-old, Dallas-based performer Riley Deaver.

Immediately following the commercial’s debut, viewers began to inquire about downloading the song. As a result, “We’ve Arrived,” featuring Riley Deaver by Hook Society is now available on iTunes and all other major digital music sites.

In October 2015, Bridgeland won eight prestigious awards at the Houston’s Best PRISM Awards in several developer categories including “Best TV Commercial,” “Best Event of the Year,” “Best Brochure,” “Best Marketing Campaign,” “Best Print Ad,” “Best Interactive Point of Sale” and “Best Website” as well as the “Grand Award Promotion” recognizing the developer who won the most categories for their advertising efforts. Houston’s Best PRISM Awards are hosted by Greater Houston Builders Association.

Bridgeland is the largest community development in northwest Houston that thrives on its balance in nature. The community has dedicated over 3,000 acres to lakes, trails and parks while also offering on-site schools with a new multi-campus educational village being developed; places of worship, including the upcoming Houston’s First Baptist Church campus; the highly-anticipated Lakeland Village Center; social activities; and recreational outlets.
